Esta embajada es un lugar centralizado para albergar recursos que apoyen los asuntos relacionados con los cruces entre lenguajes, políticas de amplio alcance, decisiones relacionadas con el software que nos afectan a todos, la actual conversión de wikis al nuevo software y los enlaces interlingüísticos.
Si quieres colaborar desde otra enciclopedia distinta a la Wikipedia o a la Enciclopedia Libre por favor, establece una página equivalente a ésta en el wiki de la tuya propia, enlázala con el resto y apúntate en la lista de abajo como embajador. Si quieres colaborar desde esta enciclopedia, echa un vistazo a las tareas de un embajador en el apartado embajadores que aparece más abajo, el trabajo es sencillo y no está mal pagado (de hecho no está pagado).

Hello. I am an administrator over at the Icelandic Wikipedia. We have been discussing a proposal there to "abolish" the posistion of buerocrats by making every admin a buerocrat. Many (including me) do not believe it is necessary to have a special class of super-admins for very few technical functions. I notice that the Spanish Wikipedia has already done this (every admin is also a buerocrat) and I am curios to know how this happened and how this has worked out for you. - Well, i don't know how it was in the very beginnings. When i arrived it was already as this and such may have been forever. The real question is, why are super-admins needed?. We see no reason for it. Simply, every admin can close requests for adminships and give bot flag, not a big deal. When it was sometimes discussed, an argument was: there could be a need to emergency sysop other users in case of a strong vandal attack. On the other hand, there's the fear of a vandal sysopping other accounts. Well, how much would it stand? Nobody needs to sysop thousands of users at once, that vandal would be easily detected and emergency desysopped, as well as all those childs. One of our sysops is also a steward, but that's not really a need. Getting to an admin is not easy, and such behhaviour would automatically drop all faith in that user. If that passed then- well, didn't deserve being a sysop on first place. Something went very wrong with our adminship system.

[editar] Help needed for construction of English Wiki article.
Hello Ambassadors. I am Iceflow from the English Wikipedia. I am working on the construction of an article about an animation which was Spanish in origin. It is known in the UK as "Scruff", but I am unable to find a reference to it using that name on the Spanish Wikipedia. Either it was shown under a different name in Spain, or you do not have an article on it.
